- No Refunds
Once you have paid the funds to the event organiser, there are no refunds for the amount which you paid for the event. From time to time, the event organiser will have paid these funds to an external venue or provider, the event organiser is at liberty to pay your funds to the venue at any time before the event which they deem appropriate.
- Disclaimer
By attending the community event, you voluntarily assume all risks and responsibilities associated with your participation. The event organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and personnel are not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the event. You are responsible for your own safety, health, and personal property. Photographs and videos may be taken at the event, and by attending, you grant permission for their use. Please comply with laws, regulations, and event guidelines.
- Age Limits
Unfortunately, we can only cater to over 18 events, because if you are underage, consents need to be obtained by your responsible adult, which we do not have capacity for right now. We are sorry for the inconvenience. By attending the event, you are confirming you are 18 years or older and hold a valid ID document to verify the same.
- Attendance and Participation:
Your attendance at the community event is voluntary, and you are responsible for your own behavior and participation throughout the event.
- Personal Responsibility:
You will be responsible for your conduct before, during and after the event. The event organiser takes no responsible for your individual actions and should any laws, rules or code of conduct be broken by you, you are solely responsible for the same. You understand and acknowledge that you are solely responsible for your own safety during your journey to and from the event location. It is your responsibility to ensure that you follow all applicable laws, rules, and guidelines related to transportation, including road safety, traffic regulations, and personal safety precautions.
Please exercise caution and use your best judgment when traveling to and from the event. Be mindful of your surroundings, traffic conditions, weather conditions, and any potential hazards that may arise during your journey. Take appropriate measures to ensure your safety, such as using designated pedestrian paths, crosswalks, or wearing reflective clothing if necessary.
- Code of Conduct:
You agree to adhere to a code of conduct that promotes respectful and inclusive behavior towards all attendees, event staff, and participants. Discrimination, harassment, and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
- Liability and Release:
By participating in the community event, you acknowledge and agree that the event organizers, volunteers, and associated personnel shall not be held liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage incurred during your travel to and from the event. This includes, but is not limited to, accidents, injuries, theft, or any other unfortunate incidents that may occur.
- Health and Safety:
You are responsible for prioritizing your own health and safety during the event. Please comply with all health guidelines, consume alcohol responsibly (if applicable), and exercise caution around any potentially hazardous activities or equipment.
- Intellectual Property:
All intellectual property rights associated with the event, including event materials, presentations, and content, belong to the event organizers. These materials are protected by copyright and other applicable laws.
- Media Consent:
Photographs, videos, or audio recordings may be taken during the event. By attending, you provide consent for your image or likeness to be used by the event organizers for promotional or documentation purposes.
- Modification or Cancellation:
The event organizers reserve the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel the event if necessary. In the event of cancellation, reasonable efforts will be made to communicate any changes and provide alternatives or refunds, if applicable.
Once your funds are paid to the business which the bookclub is attending, those fees will be non-refundable. Please be aware that the funds could be paid before the cut off time (from time to time), and if they are with the associated business, the event organiser is not liable for a refund unless it is available from the business.
- Privacy and Data Protection:
Your personal information collected during the event registration process will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws. The event organizers will use this information for event-related purposes and take appropriate measures to protect your privacy.
